What is
PRINCE2 Project Management?

PRINCE2 is a process–based methodology for structured project management. Originally created as a UK government standard, Prince2 is used in more than 150 countries for its efficiency, flexibility, scalability, and effectiveness. It can be applied to any type of project, from a simple event to a complex international project.

PRINCE2 (Projects in Controlled Environments) emphasizes breaking down a project into seven specific stages, each of which can be easily controlled and managed.

The advantages of PRINCE2 include increased organization; clearly defined roles for management; checks and balances to guard against project scope creep; and systematic ways to measure and increase efficiency and success.
