Course Overview

A power tool is a tool that is actuated by an additional power source and mechanism other than the solely manual labor used with hand tools.

In this course you’ll learn to describe the components of a drill motor, to describe how different speeds and amounts of pressure affect the quality of a hole, to describe the parts of a Winslow drill. You’ll also be able to list the components of compression riveter dies and to explain setting up a compression riveter. Finally, you’ll be able to describe the proper technique for countersinking a hole and to understand the proper way to use a countersink gauge.
