A Hydraulics system is composed of many components that have a specific utility. It is important to understand how these components are working together.

In this course you’ll learn to explain the purpose of a hydraulic actuator, you’ll be able to identify the different types of cylinders, to describe the components of a cylinder actuator and list the applications of hydraulic motors. You’ll be able to describe the purpose of a hydraulic valve, to understand how a hydraulic valve works and you’ll be able to list the different classifications of hydraulic valves. You’ll understand the use of connection blocks, you’ll be able to list the types of pressure measuring instruments and you’ll be able to describe how a pressure gauge works.
