Omero Marongiu-Perria

Scientific and Educational Director

Omero Marongiu-Perria is the pedagogical director of ECLEE. He earned his doctorate in the field of sociology of ethnicity and religions from the University of Lille, France, in 2002. Dr. Marongiu-Perria has been specializing in equal opportunity and nondiscrimination for over 20 years, especially for private companies and public administration.

As a European expert on diversity and inclusion, Dr. Marongiu-Perria has participated for more than 15 years in national and European programs on interculturality (National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts of the Loire-Atlantique, EU-Grundvid, 2008), on nondiscrimination and employability (EU-Erasmus + 2015, EU-cCLEP, 2018), and on issues related to the practice of Muslim worship (EU-DG Employment and Social Affairs Phase II, 2002; Open Society Foundation, 2014; and the Ministry of the Interior, 2004 and 2017; Network of European Foundations, 2009).

Certified in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in 2011, he created ECLEE Lean training courses based on the recommendations of the International Association for Six Sigma Certification (IASSC). He currently lectures in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt at the Institut Lillois d’Ingéniérie de la Santé (ILIS) at the Lille 2 University of Health and Law in France.

Since the beginning of 2015, he has been instrumental in establishing Djagora University, a private university emphasizing employability skills and leadership based in Dakar, Senegal.
