Composites are everywhere in our lives. Understanding the background and history of composites is important information in understanding their use.

In this course, you’ll learn industries that use composite materials, you’ll be able to identify products that are made of composite material, you’ll be able to list the three main types of fibers used in composite material, you’ll be able to list factors determining the type of material used in a product and you’ll be familiar with methods of how to minimize the hazards of handling composite materials, resins and associated items.
