Programmable logic controllers

149

Programmable controllers are industrial, programmable circuits used to control production processes. They are a low-cost and powerful alternative for directing and managing automated systems in all types of industries.

In this course, you’ll learn how to describe the different types of programmable controllers, how to identify the functions of the different types of programmable controllers. You’ll also learn how to identify the four steps a PLC performs during operation, how to define the term input scan, how to define the term program scan, how to define the term output scan and how to identify the symbols representing normally open and normally closed contact relays.
